Amendment Last Week

In case you missed it, the Constitution was amended last week. See here. The amendment is as follows:Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and or unusual punishments inflicted.And, of course, if reasonable minds differ about constitutionality, then the five robed ones do as they please anyway. The best way to put an end to this travesty would be to elect John McCain and Sarah Palin in November, and to keep Obama and Biden in the U.S. Senate (where they can only be modestly disastrous to the rule of law).read more
